Gary Persello-Fine Art Fantasy Bronze Sculpture

This piece captures the joyful abandon and playfulness of the child. Just as the child who abandoned his toy, this fairy is focused and intent upon the magic of creating beautiful bubbles from nothing but her own breath and a soapy wand. Like the fairy herself who is a being of air, the bubbles too are ephemeral creatures, awing and delighting us with their momentary presence, and then disappearing back into the realm of the unseen. Yet invisible though they are, all of them--fairy, bubble, and breath--are transcendental symbols of life itself.
